• Are they licensed and insured?
• Do they perform the work or contract it out to another person?
• Do they use the best grade materials?
• What arrangements and time frame do they expect for payment.
• Do they have local references?
• Have a written price quote and a list of specific work to be done.
• Don’t pre-pay for work to be preformed.
