Somerset Stain

This Somerset Coordinating Stain Program is to assist customers who have purchased Somerset Hardwood Flooring and would like to have stain to match.  

 IMPORTANT: The beauty of wood is that it is a natural product, therefore no two pieces match and different pieces take stain differently. In working with Hoover Paint Store to provide the stain matching service to Somerset customers, Somerset Flooring's goal is to meet their customer requests and needs for stains that will blend with Somerset flooring colors. Neither Hoover Paint Store nor Somerset Hardwood Flooring is responsible for final finished colors, since the stains may be applied to different wood substrates, and we have no control over the application methods or results. 

Actual stain color will depend on wood specie, how it is sanded, and application technique.  As a option to purchasing these products from us, you can also have these colors matched at your local professional paint store. Take a sample of the flooring color you want and a sample of the unfinished wood to be stained.  The unfinished wood will be used to test the stain color.

Despite what UPS may state in delivery time, it is typically taking longer to deliver.

These coatings can only be shipped standard ground.

The following flooring stain colors only require a clear finish and no stain:

Color Collection: Natural Red Oak and Natural White Oak

Homestyle Collection: Natural Red Oak and Natural White Oak

High Gloss Collection: Natural Red Oak and Natural White Oak

Classic Collection: Natural Red Oak

Character Collection: Walnut, Hickory, and White Oak

Specialty Collection: Hickory Natural and Maple Natural

Wide Plank Collection: Natural Red Oak and Natural White Oak

If You do not see your color and collection listed, Select Collection Not Listed and Color Not Listed and then type information in the Color Name Reorder Mix # field.

ALWAYS TEST a color sample prior to full application of stain!
